Faversham House are looking for an experienced B2B Event Sales Consultant to join the Utility Week team. You will be working directly with your Sales Director to deliver an established series of conferences for the UK utilities sector. This is a new role to expand our sales bandwidth within the utilities sales team. The successful candidate will initially have responsibility for selling exhibition stand space and entry level value sponsorship packages into the Utility Week conferences with a view to progressing onto higher value SPEX and big-ticket sales and taking on a multi-platform sales approach across the portfolio.
Full time: 35 hours Monday to Friday, Hybrid working

Your profile
A self-starter with a thirst for winning new business and who enjoys getting fully immersed in their market to drive the growth of the conference portfolio.
A minimum of 2 years B2B sales experience, a proven track record of new business development in a B2B environment and a sound understanding of sales processes.
Exhibition or conference experience would be desirable although candidates from other B2B sales backgrounds, such as media sales, will be considered.
There is no requirement for specific degrees or higher education qualifications, however, candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
